URSV has a
well-defined quality policy, which is in line with the company, customer,
regulatory and relevant accreditation requirements and reflects the aim and
objectives of the company. The policy is communicated to and understood by all
personnel whether employed full time or part time subcontracted. The policy is
reviewed from time to time to ensure its suitability.
URSV operates
its schemes to meet the needs of its customers and stakeholders whilst complying
with the overarching requirements of the regulatory authority that grant
accreditation.
Additionally,
top management:
i)
Understands the importance of impartiality in carrying out the services
and ensure safeguarding impartiality and that to implement measure at all levels
of organization,
ii)
Manages conflict of interest, and
iii)
Ensures the objectively of management system activities, and
iv)
Take actions to respond to any threats to its impartiality arising from
the actions of other parts of organization, persons outside of the organization,
subcontractors, related bodies or other bodies or organizations.
To this end
our policy is:

To maintain quality management system for the activities of the
organization in line with accreditation requirements as per related
international standards (and other accreditation criteria as appropriate) and
any specific requirements & guidelines,
ii)
To ensure that the validation and verification activities are carried out
in impartial and competent manner and in accordance with the scope of
accreditation, where appropriate and within the requirements of relevant
accreditation standards,
iii)
To offer a service to the best of our abilities, which is independent and
impartial and is seen to be fair, cost competitive and of high integrity,
iv)
To undertake continuous improvement in the way we conduct our business
and the services we offer,
v)
To ensure that our people are fully trained in their roles, understand
the philosophy, and operate the procedures set out in the URS manuals and
associated documents.
vi)
To maintain a professional environment and culture in the organization
that supports a behaviour of all personnel that is consistent with impartiality.
URSV
offer its services to all the organizations of any size, without discrimination
or pre-condition. URSV does not practice hidden discrimination by seeding or
delaying applications. There is no financial consideration, other than
non-payment of invoices, which will cause delay or cancel certification.
