• United Kingdom Accreditation Services - UKAS
UKAS was the first such body formed to regulate certification bodies & registrars such as URS. UKAS is recognized by the British Government as the sole national body responsible for assessing and accrediting the competence of organizations in the fields of measurement, testing, inspection and certification of systems, products and personnel. UKAS is a non-profit organization and operates under a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of U.K.
Accreditation by UKAS is the key to ensuring that consumers, suppliers, purchasers and other stakeholders to have confidence in the quality of goods and in the provision of services throughout the supply chain. It demonstrates an organization's competence, impartiality and capability, and helps to underpin the credibility of performance, goods and services in international arenas.

• National Accreditation Board For Certification Bodies- NABCB
National Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies (NABCB) is a constituent of Quality Council of India (QCI). The objective of NABCB is to establish and offer accreditation schemes, based on internationally accepted standards, for CBs and inspection bodies engaged in providing services of system certification, product certification and inspection. NABCB is a member of the Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (Association of Accreditation Bodies in the Asia-Pacific Region) and International Accreditation Forum (Association of Accreditation Bodies worldwide). NABCB is also a signatory to the IAF MLA (Multi lateral Arrangement) for Mutual Recognition.

• International Automotive Task Force -IATF
IATF- International Automotive Task Force is a group of OEMs and automotive trade associations whose common goal is to improve the quality of products to benefit automotive customers worldwide. IATF has a very specific mission of development of a consensus quality system requirements for automotive supply chain, along with a recognition scheme and training to support third party assessments of automotive suppliers. The result of IATF's efforts, in conjunction with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has been the introduction of ISO/TS 16949 quality management system requirements.
IATF administers the ISO/TS16949 through a network of formal oversight offices established in member countries. These include the International Automotive Oversight Bureau (IAOB) for the US, CCFA for France, ANFIA for Italy, VDA for Germany, and SMMT for UK. IATF is the sole Accreditation Board in the world, providing recognition to CBs for TS16949 certification.

• National System For Accreditation of Certification and Inspection Bodies, SINCERT
SINCERT was founded in 1991 as a Non Profit Organization, legally recognized by the Italian Government with Ministerial Decree passed on the 16th of June 1995. It states the requirements for the evaluation and certification of quality management systems including construction sector as per SINCERT RT05 document. Sincert RT05 document is applicable to building companies and installation firms of systems and services.
URS via it’s Italy counterpart under the group is recognized by SINCERT for issuing Certificate of conformity to ISO 9001:2000 Standard in the Construction Sector. |
