ISO 30000 standard specifies requirements for a ship recycling facility considering Health & safety standards, environmental elements and regulatory requirement in order to carry out safe and environmentally sound ship recycling. URS conducts audits thoroughly against ISO 30000 in Bhavnagar standard requirements of a ship recycling facility and certifies against ISO 30000 standard.
ISO 30000 Standard applies to the entire process of ship recycling from accepting a ship for recycling by the facility to the final disposal of the ship. The overall objective of this standard is to ensure recycling process in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
